Great question! I have been following the P90X workout plan for a couple weeks now. I, personally, do not follow the meal plan because I eat majority of the same foods as well. Just make sure that you are eating lean meat and up-ing your intake of protein. I have been monitoring my calories at on online website called http://www.FitClick.com. The site offers BMI calculators, calorie counters and food journals to log what you eat and maintain your caloric intake. Try it out and good luck!
Is it necessary to follow the P90X diet plan to get results?

I am just starting the P90X classic plan for the purpose of getting toned before bikini season. I am not really interested in losing weight and already eat relatively healthy. I went through the diet plan and discovered that I already eat a lot of the suggested foods on a regular basis (oatmeal, chicken breasts, eggs (w/yolk), skim milk, yogurt, etc). Does anyone know if I will still see great results with the workouts without strictly following the diet plan?
