I’ll never forget the very first time I got ripped, how I did it and how it felt. I’ve never told this entire story before or widely published my early photos either. Winning first place and seeing my abs the first time was sweet redemption. But before that, it was a story of desperation…
I started lifting weights for bodybuilding when I was 14 years old, but I never had ripped abs until I was 20. I endured six years of frustration and embarrassment. Being a teenager is hard enough, but imagine how I felt being a self-proclaimed bodybuilder, with no abs or muscle definition to show for it. Imagine what it was like in swimming class or when we played basketball in gym class and I prayed to be called out for “shirts” and not ‘”skins” because I didn’t want any one seeing my “man-boobs” and ab flab jiggling all over the court.
Oh, I had muscle. I started gaining muscle from the moment I picked up a barbell. I got strong too. I was benching 315 at age 18. But even after four years of successful strength training, I still hadn’t figured out this getting ripped thing. Muscle isn’t very attractive if it’s covered up with a layer of fat. That’s where the phrase “bulky” really comes from – fat on top of muscle. It can look worse than just fat.

- Eggs: If you walking in my kitchen and open my refrigerator you will see 48 eggs in there…I consume about 4-5 eggs daily. 2 egg york and 4 egg whites. Other than high protein content, egg is also high in B-12 that helps you break down your belly fat faster.
- Fat Free Dairy Products: my two favorite dairy free product are Fat Free yogurt and Low Fat Milk. Yogurt is best take with strawberry, it will not only help you with your digesting system, but also release protein slowly into your body…best eat at night.. Low Fat Milk is also my favorite, rich with protein and calcium….however you must watch portion size, it easy to over drink Milk.
- Beans: beans are absolutely the best source sources for protein, fiber and iron. My favorite food order in a Japanese restaurant is called Edamame (ed-uh-ma-may). It really easy to make just boiled it for 3-5 minutes, put a light layer of salt (use the salt substitute), don’t over spear salt tho…..
- Oatmeal: as you may already know, Oatmeal is weight lifter’s best friend. Egg + Oatmeal are best breakfast for you. It’s a well knowing fact that Oatmeal keeps your colon healthy..oat meal is loaded with soluble fiber which helps reduce blood cholesterol by flushing the those bad digest acids out of your system. Best food to flushing fat out.

I realize a lot people around me doesn’t have much of energy….They all look depressed…
….If you are lacking in energy department, ask yourself….

I have many passions in my life: Music (I am a DJ), Business (I ran and own different business and projects), and Martial Art (I am studying it right now,practice it everyday)…..
Today, I like to challenge you to find your *TRUE* Passion… Is it music?….Is it writing a book?….Is it running?…..Is it teaching others?….Is it just simply helping others?….
I know when I play piano, I would forget time and space… the sound of the music and I became one…. I will be so involved in it…
Nowadays, I spent a lot of time practice and training for my New Art – Shaolin …… P90X workout is really good for conditioning me doing Shaolin….. It helped me with over all balance (i am super stiff, but I am working on it everyday, stretching etc….)
So go find your Passion….and BELOW is a GIFT from me to you…to..inspire you to find your.. *TRUE ART*
